What Dyson need is a good book on CHEMICAL AND STATISTICAL THERMODYNAMICS.The amount of CO2 released as manmade,in connections with the paving off the forests and cementing the roads,and salting the national highways for decreasing the freezing points which end up in rivers,lakes and soils,and loss of photosynthetic antannae molecules,due to lack of trees,grasses.Further more over production of combustion with air trafficks and autotrafficks on highways and lands,they do not add up to dyson's naive estimation over the period of time and decades.Dyson needs to attend some seminars on reversible,irreversible,linear and non linear thermodynamics,perhaps he should be reading Prigogine and Glansdorf etc.
