That is correct--I've read that the U.S. contributes 25% of the world's pollution whiles its population is about 5% total. I'm concerned not so much about daily, weather chaneges as much as slow, climactic changes of one half or one degree increase in temperature over a one hundred year period. If those who see "through rose colored glasses" are incorrect, we will be in big trouble.
