Yes, in my own approach I came upon the idea in trying to model how a blackhole exist inside and why they don't simply collapse down to a zero point stacked frames. It was not till later I discovered there was some theory on brane states that supported this idea in general. The assumption based on my own model was that blackholes do not simply fold up into a zero point with a loss of mass in the process. They, especially if observation of galatic cores are an indirect study of them, do not appear normally prone to collapse, etc. So I had a mystery of sorts that required a solution since most zero point models tend in principle to allow them to do so. My first look at this concerned the fact that only so much information can be encoded into a zero point. Thus, the system would tend to resist further encoding.

This led me to the general idea of a back pressure against gravity then I started to notice others had proposed a simular effect before with branes in general which naturally ties in to this and offers a solution for a possible problem in general. Its not a fully solved one as far as theory goes at present. But it may well explain how nature censures against singularities of the naked type in general.
