Firestone, Interpretations do not interfere with anything unless you let them. There are three QM modes in stirng theory and everywhere, the Schrodinger approach, the Dirac approach and the Feynman approach (there may be another equvalent approach by Heisenberg, the matrix approach, which would also be equivalent, but I have a vague memory is it is in fact true). I beleive it is the Feynman approach dominating String theory so far. I'm under the impression they are all equivalent althoug the Dirac way is the only one listed as relativistic in my reference. As for interpretations, anyone you like is as good as the other so far. Make your own!
