Both sides claim the results could show off the brane states as valid. My argument with this second group is that all they should be able to induce is a higher energy Blackhole which I term an enlarged zero point, not a portal into hyperspace, and I didn't even start with their same model. So the results of these future experiments I will find very interesting indead. I think what we actually have at play here is the general finding that String Theory can generate an infinite set of vacuum solutions even if it remains renormlized as far as particle mass and the graviton go. My strongest objection to the second group is their idea violates some aspects of the Standard Model irrespective if it involves an engineered state or not. Here the first group is more in keeping with the Standard Model. However, it is also true that supersymmetry goes beyond the standard model and those experiments may be able to show how far it goes beyond it.
