non-integer dimensions of physical or non-physical quantitiesPosted by ceco on October 09, 2003 at 09:15:18: In Reply to: Re: non-integer dimensions of physical or non-physical quantities posted by DickT on October 08, 2003 at 13:02:47: Thanks mathman and DickT! DickT, Perhaps, you could provide me with a reference to suitable books/articles dealing with this issue (renormalization). "Suitable" is in the sense of less formalism and more explanation of the essence of the method and the interpretation of non-integer dimensions. Ideally, something in the spirit of Philosophy of Science. I have a degree in physics and another one, more recent, in psychology. I am specifically interested in quantitative methods and psychophysics. I can read and understand writings in physics but to the extend of the knowledge of a graduate student. Thanks again, Ceco Follow Ups: (Reload page to see most recent)
