Alen,

Good post.

There is purpose behind the math besides exaltation, and the desire for the understanding of movement and energy expression has to be understood.

The superstring theory has provide for some balance to the points you have raised about the question of particle identification. We, from the view point, as far as I can gather see this partcile based on a frequency of vibration that identifies the energy value as well as the location in any given space. The value seen then, in a feild would have found a gathering of these strings, in any one location, and one has removed to a degree, the uncertainty principal from the very identification of dualism between a wave and a partcile.

This is my point of view from what I have learnt so far and it may be wrong. But the work has moved the science here to another level in terms of what we have known of the physics so far, and presents a new platform, in which we may see the world. Uniting the quantum world with relativity, does require us to understand how the nature of curvature could have been applied in such a small world to have understood its application is diverse.

The post up top about knots is one attempt at trying to describe what happens mathematically and is a excellent analogy of the energy and the matters influenced.

Again it is my point of view and I still have much to learn, so I am open to all ideas in this direction.

Sol
