Could you please inform me on what you feel about this theory:

My theory incorporates the Big Bang that is theorised through M-theory, that two
colliding membranes produced the immense explosion that began our universe.
However, my theory is how these membranes may explain the manner in which the
universe now expands.

If two colliding membranes had in fact produced our universe would it not be true that
as our universe expands it would come into contact with the colliding universes. Where
this contact occurs the membrane would be unable to expand whereas areas of
non-contact would expand easily. This would explain the characteristic expansion of
our universe but would also explain a more unusual phenomenon. Where our universe
is in contact with the others could it be that, not only does it cease to expand but the
colliding membranes exert a force upon our membrane causing it to contract. This
would mean that a section of the universe is in fact gradually contracting (blue shifted)
and our local neighbourhood of galaxies (Andromeda etc) is a part of this section.

This theory could also explain why expansion is accelerating. The universe would be
expanding automatically because of the momentum it has from the Big Bang.
However, if the other membranes exert a force on our membrane by causing this small
area to contract it causes the non-contacting areas of the membrane to expand faster
(accelerate). Also, if the total area of our universe exposed to the other membranes
increases then a greater force will be exerted upon us. As this occurs a greater force is
gradually being exerted so a gradual acceleration would be a product.

It is unlikely that the force exerted on our universe by the other membranes would be
by physically touching as this would most likely cause further Big Bangs. However, it
could be gravity (or some unknown force) that causes the exerted force.
