If you want to leave the popular stuff behind, you could try the quantum mechanics books from Baym or Sakurai. For the basics of the basics have a look at the Berkeley Lectures. Maybe you also want to check out the Feynman Lectues. If you want to enter the amazing world of quantum field theory, you may have a look at the QFT book by Kaku in order to get an good overview. The really hard stuff can be found for example in Itzykson, Zuber, in Peskin, Schroeder, in Weinberg ... but there are many more.
