In the Penrose model you mention, Roger is suggesting that
the mediator of the gravitational force is a massless spin
1/2 particle ? That sounds like a neutrino. Do there
exist bosons with half-integral spin ? If not, it seems
like the exclusion principle would tangle things up when
you had interactions involving the spin 1/2 gravitational
mediators in that model.
