Guide to Physics, SuperStrings and Other Things, pg 332 and 333, by Carlos I Calle, L=length of string

L=nl/2 where n=1,2,3...

Slash represents nv over top of 2L

n=1,2,3.....

l/(slash represents over)2=L( fundamental mode)

second harmonic:

2l(/,representing over)2=L

Third Harmonic:

3l(/)2=L

Fourth Harmonic

4l/(over)2=L

Here I was intrigued by the spectrum association of deterinations of cosmological significance, in terms of wave understanding? Here I went to De Brogiles standing waves for allowed orbits.

I know I have not been really specific, but the jest of what i am saying might be apparent? If not I will try better to convey.

I am having extreme difficulties with how something is written over something else?
