Desnity Operator viewpoint is probably not usually taught to physics undergrad so I suppose it's not as widely known as other views. I found out that the mathematical theory behind it is the spectral theorem, which seems to be some sort of representation theory for operators? Would you happen to know something about it, DickT? Thanks.
