The physics of light...Posted by AgnusDei on April 28, 2003 at 19:32:30: I have a question that has been bothering me for sometime now: Couldn't light be 'faster' than its normally assessed speed? I ask this because I have heard that [if the Big Bang theory were to be true] everything within the universe will attain a speed of light itself (about 300,000km/s^2). Even at this state, we are traveling at very high velocities and yet light remains constant. So, could light exist at higher velocities or am I conjecturing on something that would be easily solved with relativity? I would gladly accept a response to this question. AD
