If the distribution of MASS and electric CHARGE in nucleus becomes non-spherical the Quantum mechanically, symmetry is broken and nuclei would rotate.A consequence of the collective rotation of deformed nuclei is a very regular pattern of emitted GAMMA RAYS,since it is a large electric quadripole moment which is rotating, the emmitted gamma rays are of multipolarity. The gamma rays were found in near-spherical lead isotopes. These gamma rays were showed to be with ENHANCED STRONG MAGNETIC DIPOLE CHARACTER.
It was also reported that the gamma rays have been shown to interact with the Magnetic field of the SUN.
