No, I have said that I think they are reconfigured electrons. They could be any particle, but since electrons are the most common and the easiest to manipulate then they likely constitute most photon production. This is not too unlike your ignoron idea, it is just that with ultrawaves there does not need to be an unseen partner. The electrostatic and magnetostatic portions are 2D objects that revolve about each other creating the 3D paired object that constitutes what we call a photon. For an electron (or any matter particle) the two 2D objects revolve at such close proximity that they create a torus shape which provides the magnetic moments and spins observed.
