Perhaps we could suggest a Michelson type interferometer on the Hubble telescope. Not only would it serve as a superb double slit type experiment but would also be extremely useful for resolving a wide array of distant objects.
I am surprised that it wasn't part of the planning of the original system.
Your suggestions for the experiments are systematic and articulate. I think of it as more your experiment now, but then in science, the benifits belong to everyone.
