HYPERONS:
are subatomic particles that are more massive than nucleuons(protons,Neutrons.Strnagness is a property of elementary particles used to classify hyperons.Thus each hyperon is assigned a strangeness quantum number ,s,which is related to the ELECTRIC CHARGE,Q,the isospin number T,and the baryon number B,by formula:
Q=T+(s + B)
T = 1/2 for proton and -1/2 for neutron,other particles might have T=0 or 1,depending on the type.Strangeness is conserved in reactions of strong interaction.The strangeness explains why some reactions take place slower than other.
How this relation of above the equation could be extended to electron(Fermion/Leptons)together in a system of atoms or it is only descriptive of the charge of nucleonic particle?
