When I first started posting here, I asked someone (anyone) to explain why using a velocity equivalent to c2 and macroscopic equations for spinning charged rings produced the numbers for describing all spin-1/2 particles as tori. So far no one has taken up the challenge. Until someone can do this, no amount of philosophical debate on the merits of UT will cause me to abandon it. In UT there is no conversion from mass to energy. The only thing that makes so-called massless particles different from massive ones is that stationary ones that we think of as mass carriers are actually spinning at light speed and the rest travel linearly at light speed while still retaining their mass. The conversion is just from one type to the other and that is why photons can produce spin-1/2 particles. Sure there are lots of details that I haven't worked out, but I know of no other single theory that can describe all aspects of our reality.
