The problem is that Graviton and higgs particle are not been found and probably they are going to remain hypothetical in the sense to develop REAL PHYSICS around that premises might be a futile adventure,since particle concept been so successful to explain the nature and its laws,while the string concept been rather forcefully substituted with out clues to substaintiate their truthfulness except that it works towards imaginary unification theory.Suppose there are forces which have different basis and do not inclined to be included,then we will miss opportunity to understand newer real world.I believe Relativity is successful to a certain extent but stretching it too far must be carefully questioned.By the way I came across this :unification theory homepage of Hicman,might interest you,has interesting theoretical derivations.
