This approach is thus different in the mechanical view, but not in the effect/result.

Got it. And the same is true for protons/neutrons/electrons, and also for quarks/neutrinos/photons; ditto at higher levels (molecules, cells, organisms; crystals, bulk matter, planets; etc)?
