Sol Thanks for the comment Sol! It depends how we describe 'thought'. In layering perspective every layer is continuously in oscillation. When the evaluation process (comparing all kinds of resonant oscillations from local or even non-local layers) is finished then the "winning" oscillation will be transported (or is already) in the relevant neuron-system (Penrose microtubulins) and will provoke there the temporal excitation which becomes a 'thought knot'. If the thought knot is just a small pain-impulse is will not be stored as a 'knowledge knot'. For example a short pain in the foot. When the small pain is repeated 100 times it will make a knowledge knot. You become conscious that something may be wrong with your foot. But let's say you are hurt yourself with a knife. When it is serious pain it will be stored in the microtubuline 'associated' area of all experiences with knives. Then it becomes a knowledge knot. It will also be stored in microtubulines related to muscle-control. The next time you take that knife you will be consciously more carefully. After a while your have learned the correct handling and in the future the handling of the knife will be unconsciously 'correct'. In meditation you will be able to transcendent 'thought' in more collective oscillations. This is like creating standing oscillations on one or more layers as a whole. (cfr. Maslow spoke about 'peak-experiences'). Therefor we can not really 'knot' them ... it's a state of experience. Not knowledge. What we can learn however is a number of attitudes (handling, ritual, ...) to enter more quickly is such a state. Best regards, Dirk
