There are several other possible interpretations, and there is no experimental data that can distinguish among them. Since string theory builds on quantum mechanics, it can also neither confirm or deny the many worlds interpretation. If you have the time to wander through the archived boards at this site (which you'll probably find to be fun in and of itself) you should come up with a number of threads that discuss the many worlds concept.
