How about sectioning into 3-balls starting at the "ana" pole and going one-dimensionally up to the "apo" pole. Call this dimension w (working in Euclidean 4-space). Each section will be a 3-ball * dw where the radius of the 3-ball is a function of w. Figure this function to construct your integrand as 3-Ball volume(w) dw and then integrate from w = -1 to w = +1.
