I believe the concepts of looking for dimension is due the Einstein thing,of which time has passed.The more fascinating and exciting thing could be to look for NEWER KIND OF FORCES in the Universe,which could explain hidden phenomena of nature.I am sure there is more room for discoveries yet to come.For example the Nature of charge and its origin would reveal new forces in nature.
