He does mention that these Calabi-Yau space are not true manifolds because they are not Hausdorf, but results are obtained anyway even though we ignor this. My only interest is in how the universe stands to reason, how is it a manifestation of logic. So far I understand the universe to be a manifold for which AND's and OR's (unions and intersections) are included as part of it. The next question is where did this manifold (universe) come from. How did it grow from nothing? For it seems unreasonable to produce an instant infinity. General Relativity suggests a growing universe from a singularity (So I've been told). I have to think that this is equivalent to the growing of dimensions in the 10 dimensional Calabi-Yau space. One question I have is whether these spaces consider that some tiny dimension do NOT grow. What, did they come into exitence fully formed without explanation? So it would seem that all dimension should grow, at least up to a point.
