Dick, You said: "Now consider GR. Matter* tells spacetime how to curve and spacetime tells matter how to move. Spacetime, the fabric of the universe, is in on the action and is changed by it. There isn't anything left any more in the background. This is monism, only one fundamental kind of thing, interacting spacetime which is the same as gravitating matter. This was Einstein's vision. Spacetime is nothing at all but the gravity-curvature field." That's is my point: 'There isn't anything left any more in the background'. So no matter existed. Thus matter is the result of spacetime. There is only one way: by re-structuring spacetime. Is the background breakable, Dividable, Intersecting? No. Foldable? Can it double, triple, ... penetrate itself without breaking, ...? Yes. Thus matter and energy are both different levels of multilayered spacetime. Therefore it doesn't matter if your spacetime concept be a brane with strings (as oscillating peaks on background) or a fundamental oscillating string with closed ends. It's the same. On my remark : "Due [to] orientation differences the two hyperspaces may create different types of holons of the U(1) type (x, y, z)." you asks Dick: 'These hyperspaces are oriented? Could you discuss this point?' (http://www.superstringtheory.com/forum/dualboard/messages14/ 390.html). If you are still interested in this question I suggest you download below posted pdf. It explains it clearly. Peaks A,B,C and D can be seen a basic hyperspace-zones of the unbreakable M-Brane. When A penetrates B you will see that A (the active hyperspace) is positioned in the center). You get a new re- structured spacetime B holds A, written: B(a). Now this B(a) has a lot of new possibilities in penetrating other hyperspaces or even itself. On the file you can see them in color design. Look how many new - different - positions are possible. Inside you have other orientations. To me our Universe 'accepts' only a number of them in a relative 'longer' equilibrium state. Other combinations decayed immediately. You can see this process happened in - I believe - the first 300,000 years of the BigBang. The valid combinations became the first fundamental particles. But interactions and function changes (fermions <->bosons) still happen, and also new local 're-structuring' (i.e. photon emission by a lamp). Since all particles are re-structured spacetime they influence each other by 'gravity'. So gravity in incorporated in each or act as a mediators.
But of course because you got high concentrations of matter like on earth, all creations on earth - created from earth - have their gravity fields originated by earth. Can this explain the slowdown of the voyager spacecraft? This means per analogy that any effect created by a concentrated unit (i.e. lamp) like for example the light source in the Alain Aspect experiment creates "at the same moment" an jointed gravitational situation for the two emitted photons. Since the slides are differently oriented one photon can not pass. So it's not a magic 'sensing' between them. It's a 'familiar' spacetime condition of both photons. This explains also the orientations differences found in other experiments "per group" of electrons shoot at other moments by the same source. I understand this all is very strange to you. But I believe this is at this moment the only approach that can predict (next to the behavior of photons in experiments like Aspect ) also strange interactions like synchronicity and the storage of knowledge. In practice I can build a number of new sensoring devices and new software for AI. Dirk
