Now I have to try to post my mac files somewhere. I guess my server (I am using Earthlink.com) has some space reserved for such things. Do I have to go down to the internet cafe in town to use their equipment, or is there some way I can take a disk from my Mac and send the data through my compaq armada 1750, which is of course a dos windows system?

Unfortunately my Mac is in the basement and Spring is trying to push its way up through the recent snowfall, so I am disinclined to abandon my table by the window to entomb myself next to the washing machine. But we all have to make sacrifices, and one of these days it will rain and I will feel less deprived by the cave ambiance. I would like to get my unpublished work online, so I have some motivation anyway.

I am not sure about modulus math, but I'm sure I can find that in a book too. I probably even have the book, if I could get out to my shack. I'll have to dig through the boxes, but I have been meaning to do that anyway.

This summer I hope to be able to put in footings for a small addition, which will be my library-study in the deep woods. I am hobbling about now without crutches, and only have to use a cane on uneven ground. I am moving pretty slow, but it is wonderful to be able to get around. I was laid up in a hospital bed from the middle of November until after New Years. My femur was broken just below the troch in about three places, and the md's put in a pin from my hip to my knee. It is starting to feel more stable now, but I still have to be pretty careful.
