Sol,

as promised some photo's on a "glove" balloon acting as the Mother-Brane. The knots represent pelastrations which would be either doubled layered or penetrating each other without breaking the brane (since the gravity brane is postulated to be unbreakable) that way creating 'islands'. Deformations of the geometry/topology are obvious as well as the density differences (color differences of the membrane).
