Dick, It is my opinion, that just as matter can be quantized by an observer into many componants, there remains the PRIME componant at its core, and the sun retains this fractional 'blackhole' and fusion>fission is maintained within fractional horizons within the sun itself.

Star's that evolve in open space and radiate though many cycle's, until the core 'fusion' is contracted by the equilibrium of outer 'fission'. Out of equilibrium fisson would be not strong enough to stop eventual collapse.

As stated before, its not that a Star collapses and produces a blackhole..the blackhole was allready there at the star's core, and the prime source of a star's creation, is the fractional blackhole it has at its core.

Blackhole's create stars, observationally some may see a Star creating a blackhole when it has evolved to the point of Supernova out in the space, away from the galactic core.
