THE ORIGIN & REAL NATURE OF PHOTONS:
The Photon is born out of the electron or charged particle when it moves.From Maxwell's equations and ELECTRODYNAMICS we learn that when an electron ,under the influence of external force is accelerated it produces electromagnetic radiation,which is known to us as a PHOTON.In the process we recognize that an elctron has a mass(0.511 ev)and spin 1/2.If this entity is subjected to any external force like a magnetic field or electric field it can be accelerated.That is how cyclotron or synchrotron and betatron accelerators come from,to perform the job of accelerating the particles which have charge on them.There is not reason in physics to assume that the charge has a finite upper limit of its velocity to be accelerated.What happens is that when the so called assumed fictious relativistic speed is surpassed the photons become invisible to detections and even to any measurements relating their masses.Here scientists throw down the towels and walk off to DSr.Einstein's refuge for mercy,where Einstein's Psychotherapy offers relief by telling them that the photon at this relativistic velocity became a spin 1 particle or entity and as well it has become a ZERO mass(Massless particle).This magical explaination worked well untill now,when the space-time curves kept them tied up to the rocks for ever.But like some kid walks in and tells the guys to wake up from hypnotic spell,and they start seeing photon originating from a charged particle,when a Faster than Light (FTL)particle,which is a component of missing Dark Matter encounters it,and undergoes into a holy matrimony to transform this naked charged particle of spin 1/2 into a sacred union with it,making spin 1,and levitating it to neutralize the gravitational forces on it,imparting the masslessness characterstics,even changing its original name after the matrimony to what is legally called a PHOTON or a QUANTUM.
The FTL which is know by various names,like tachyons,virtual particles or to which I called Ignorons,is that part of the 90% missing matter in the Universe,called also as Dark matter.As a matter of fact the unicverse is submerged into a vast ocean of these FTL ignorons,which do not interact with matter except with naked charged particles like electrons,positrons or protons etc.So nature had given this unique property of special affinity of FTL to charged entities only.They are highly energetic and extremely high frequency,extremely short wave lengths particles or entities,which are everywhere.
So Speed of light(C) depends on the dielectric constant(epsilon) and magnetic permeability (mu)and refractive indices of the medium.
C= 1/(epsilon+ mu)1/2)
If the photon is passing thru a medium which has different refractive index it will be bent.Dr Einstein's interpretation was that it is space-time bending due to gravity,while the Optics and other interpretations lie saying that the bending could have been due to the magnetic permeability as well the dielectric constant or refractive indices differences.
Now the experiments are showing that one can STOP a photon in a specially designed optical cavity.So the nature and origin of photon are the focus of attention which would need more research.Double slit and four slit experiments as well as the photon splitting experiments are throwing more light on photons properties and why it it is so.The revealations are that a so called photon is an ENTANGLED QUANTUM STATE of two particle,each spin 1/2,and this is the basis of interference patterns in double or four slit experiments.This interference has been linked to virtual particles or tachyons or ignorons.This means ignorons are analogous to the old concept of Ether,the FTL (faster than light entities hidden as Dark or missing matter,as a vast ocean into which the universe is submerged!).SEE LINK
