The string graviton behaves like Einstein gravity but in flat spacetime. So it would seem that it would share the property of Einstein gravity that "gravitation gravitates". That means that gravity stress energy, just like any other stress energy, can feed back to affect the overall force field (which replaces curved spacetime for the string graviton). This is true nonlinear dynamics.
